Program The swim program at Bay-O-Vista Swim School is recognized as one of the best in the bay area. We cater to the ages of three years old to Adults. Our semi-private group lessons are kept to a maximum of four students which along with our excellent teachers and an outstanding training system create a winning combination. Emphasis is on water safety and stroke basics. Our system is designed to accommodate all skill levels, from the hesitant swimmer to the accomplished competitor. We believe in acknowledging accomplishment and have developed a certification system to reward each swimmers’ achievements. Service Our service is our way of showing that we value your business. Our friendly office staff is available during the day to help you register for the classes and answer any questions. On deck supervisors will make every effort to assure that your child is placed in the appropriate class. Lessons Children Children’s lessons are offered to ages 3 thru 14. These lessons are available during all daytime and evening sessions. Adults It is never too late to learn how to swim. Private adult lessons are also available at all our listed session times. Both private and group lessons are available for children and adults. Our teachers are extremely patient and encouraging. Each class is fun, in addition to being great exercise. Fees (All Ages, Children & Adults) Group Lessons: $109.00 for 8 lessons. (2x per week for 4 weeks) Groups have a maximum of four students. Classes are 30 minutes in length. Private Lessons: $179.00 for 8 lessons. (2x per week for 4 weeks) Individual instruction. All classes are 30 minutes in length. 2-week Sessions: $179.00 for 8 lessons. (4x per week for 2 weeks) Individual instruction. There are two outdoor heated pools at this facility. The small pool is kept at 90° for a warm learning environment. From Oakland: 580 Towards San Leandro Exit Dutton/Estudillo Turn Left on Estudillo Veer Right onto Lake Chabot Rd. From Hayward: 580 Towards San Leandro Exit Downtown/Estudillo Turn Right at Stop Sign Turn Right on Estudillo Veer Right on Lake Chabot Rd. Due to the wide range of skill levels and limited number of classes we can teach at one time, the class level you request may not be offered at the exact half hour time slot you want. We will schedule your swimmer within a two hour time frame you request. All sign ups are on a first come, first served basis. * ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE * Enrollment is limited.
